My goal is to help get you to improve your mobility and balance throughout your body by using a unique massage technique that is similar to physical therapy. My specialty is a combination of medical, deep tissue, sports, rolfing and myofascial massage techniques. I try my best to open up adhesions with as little pain as possible. You don’t have to use tones of pressure to get to deeper tissue.

My office is in the San Roque area of Santa Barbara just across the street from Gelson’s Market. It is very quiet with guest parking right in front of the entryway.

If you would prefer I can drive to you, but there will be an additional $10 dollar fee for that service. I highly recommend having your appointment in my office as I have a very comfortable hydraulic lift massage table and tool at the ready in my office.

 

Menu of Services

Deep Tissue

      is focused on relieving muscle tension and adhesions in connective tissue. Deep tissue is far more effective when a person is well hydrated, so please drink lots of water beforehand.  ​​​​

Sports


​      uses cross fiber friction at muscle attachment sites, with P.N.F stretches, to increase rang of motion and performance.

Myofascial

      is designed to stimulate the stretch reflex of muscles and overlying fascia.  Myofascial massage can be less intrusive than deep tissue and sports massage.

Swedish

      is a combination of very long flowing strokes, kneading, and tapotement.  Swedish massage is designed to stimulate blood flow and relaxation.  ​

Craniosacral

      By tapping into imbalances in the cerebrospinal fluid, and structures surrounding it, the central nervous system can be brought to a parasympathetic state.  This state promotes healing.

Lymphatic Drainage

      helps to promote proper lymphatic flow throughout the body.  Lymphatic Drainage uses very light pressure moving ​lymph fluid through their channels directly beneath the skin.

      A therapeutic blend of all the above massage techniques with the desired goal of allowing the body to return to a balanced functional state.  ​

Prenatal

      A way for soon to be mothers to relax.  You will have to be comfortable with being on your side for this massage.  ​
